Unplug and Breath

Build the Small Farm of Your Dreams

Our mission is to provide technology professionals the knowledge, skills and roadmap they need to unplug and start building the small farm of their dreams. Having made this transition ourselves, our passion is sharing our experiences, mistakes and lessons learned.

Where to Start?

What We Do Not Teach

While we are excited to partner and help you achieve your dreams, we also want to be very clear about the services we do not offer.

  • Glamping:  This is not a spa experience, you will get your hands and feet dirty.  While we will do everything possible to ensure you have a positive and comfortable experience, building your own farm takes hard work.
  • Survival: On the flip side, this is not a survival camp.  We will not be teaching you how to survive in the wild with just a tarp and a knife.  This is real world small farming experience with the latest tools and technologies.
  • Commercial Farm:  We focus on farming for the hobbiest, someone who wants to unplug, lead a new life and perhaps build something for future generations.  If you are looking to learn how to do large scale or commercial for-profit farming we are not the best fit for you.
  • Livestock: We do not have animals on our farm.  As technology professionals you may need or want the freedom to travel, making it very difficult to manage animals full-time throughout the year (yes, even chickens).
